The University of Missouri Tigers baseball team, under the guidance of Head Coach Kerrick Jackson, has announced its comprehensive 2025 season schedule. This exciting lineup features matchups with 14 NCAA Regional qualifiers from the previous season, including two teams that advanced to the prestigious 2024 College World Series. With a mix of home, away, and neutral-site games, the Tigers are set to embark on a competitive journey that spans diverse locations and formidable opponents.

Highlights of the 2025 Schedule

Mizzou’s 132nd varsity baseball season comprises 55 games, with 29 taking place at home and 26 on the road or neutral venues. A notable highlight is the team’s inaugural season-opening trip beyond the continental United States to participate in the Puerto Rico Challenge from February 14-16. Hosted at Yldefonso Solá Morales Stadium in Caguas, Puerto Rico, this tournament will pit the Tigers against strong competitors, including Penn State, UConn, and Stetson.

The 2025 schedule includes at least 33 games against teams that competed in the 2024 NCAA Tournament. Among these, Mizzou will host four Southeastern Conference (SEC) rivals who made postseason appearances last year. Head Coach Jackson emphasized the strength of this schedule, stating, “Combining our non-conference games with the challenging SEC lineup creates a highly competitive season. Our players have been putting in the work all fall, and we’re excited to see it pay off this spring.”

Non-Conference and Early-Season Matchups

The Tigers begin their campaign with a seven-game road trip. After their Puerto Rico stint, they head to Florida for additional matchups, including a midweek game against UCF in Orlando on February 19. The Tigers will also compete in the Andre Dawson Classic at the Jackie Robinson Training Complex in Vero Beach, where they face Florida A&M, Alabama State, and Southern from February 21-23.

Mizzou returns to Columbia for a robust 10-game homestand starting February 25 against Lindenwood. Other home games include series with Evansville (February 28-March 2) and Binghamton (March 7-9), as well as a midweek contest against Southeast Missouri on March 4.

Diving Into SEC Play

The Tigers’ SEC season begins with a high-stakes series against LSU in Baton Rouge from March 14-16. Their March schedule also includes the annual Braggin’ Rights game against Illinois on March 25 and back-to-back SEC home series against Ole Miss (March 21-23) and new SEC member Texas (March 28-30).

April brings a mix of home and away games, including a seven-game road trip that features an SEC clash with Arkansas in Fayetteville (April 4-6) and a series against Florida in Gainesville (April 10-12). The Tigers’ in-state rivalry with Missouri State kicks off on April 15 at Taylor Stadium, followed by another game in Springfield on April 22. The month concludes with a series against Alabama in Tuscaloosa (April 24-26) and a non-conference meeting with Kansas on April 29.

Closing Out the Regular Season

May presents crucial SEC matchups for the Tigers. They host Georgia (May 2-4) and Mississippi State (May 15-17) at Taylor Stadium and will visit Texas A&M in College Station from May 9-11. Another highlight includes the second leg of their home-and-home series against Kansas on May 6.

For the first time, all 16 SEC teams will compete in the SEC Baseball Tournament, set to take place in Hoover, Alabama, from May 20-25. This expanded format promises heightened competition and a thrilling conclusion to the regular season.
