As the Miami Heat prepare to take on the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday night, Bam Adebayo’s availability remains uncertain due to a right calf contusion. With the Heat entering a home-heavy stretch of their schedule, Adebayo’s presence will be crucial as he shares an update on his status.
When asked during Wednesday morning’s shootaround if he expects to play in the rematch against Atlanta, Bam Adebayo avoided giving a clear answer, expressing frustration by saying he dislikes “hearing questions about my status.”
“I don’t know,” Adebayo said via the team’s YouTube channel. “I always hate getting asked about my playing status. We’ll figure it out and see what happens.”
Despite Miami’s tough loss to Atlanta, where they scored just 86 points—their second-lowest total of the season—they managed to hold the Hawks under 100 points, which Adebayo saw as a positive.
“I think we kept them under 100,” Adebayo noted. “That’s usually a good formula for winning. Obviously, we didn’t shoot the way we wanted to, but the great thing about this league is we get another chance today.”
