Liverpool have a strong interest in Tottenham Hotspur center-back Micky van de Ven, as reported by Football Insider. The Reds are determined to reinforce their defense, regardless of Virgil van Dijk’s contract situation, which is set to expire at the end of the season. They view the 23-year-old as a top-tier, Champions League-caliber defender who could form a solid partnership with Ibrahima Konaté.
Barcelona remain interested in Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak, according to AS, which notes that the Blaugrana had their eye on the Swedish forward as far back as 2020. The 25-year-old is among sporting director Deco’s top choices to bolster Barca’s attack in the near future.
